Founders letter — continuous-feed printout

Three takes on the white-paper / sprocket-hole / inset-label pattern from the reference image. Each strips a layer of structure off the previous — A is the most decorative, C the most minimal. Body copy is the live CMS row.

A

Full masthead + outer border + inset label

Closest to the reference. Masthead strip at top (left tag · center publication mark · date), outer page border, and an inset section label breaking the top border of the body block.

CAREERS CRASH OVERRIDE JUN 09 2026
FROM THE FOUNDERS

We started Crash Override to build the kind of company we wanted to be part of ourselves: thoughtful, ambitious, curious, and honest about what great work actually requires.

We come to this work with deep roots in the field. One of us created OWASP. Another invented AES-GCM. We have both built and grown companies before, and that experience taught us two things: a strong team is priceless, and so is the right culture, especially in a remote-first company. Great work does not happen by accident. It comes from talented people, clear values, and an environment built with intention.

This is a place for people who want to work on meaningful problems, move with purpose, and have real influence on what gets built. The work will shape the company, and the people who join now will shape that work.

B

Outer border + inset label (no masthead)

Skips the publication-style masthead. Still has the outer page border and the inset section label. Reads more "letter on a printout" than "newspaper page."

C

Sprockets + inset label only

Most minimal — no outer border, no masthead. Sprocket strips do all the "this is a printout" work. The inset section label is the only frame element on the body itself.
